The Holbrooks arrived WooHOO!!!

We are having a stay-cation here since the Holbrook family has driven their trailer up from CA to spend some time with us for the month of July. Here are some of our adventures so far...blueberry picking which they have been dreaming about since last summer when they visited. Blueberries in CA cost 5$/lb...i'm sure we'll go a few more times during their stay.

Miriam turned 2!!

We had a small family birthday party for little Miriam..She's a little love bug and turned 2. We all love her sweet fun-loving personality. She enjoyed her birthday party very much, especially the presents...lots of kitty things, candy, and baby dolls. She's such a girly-girl. here's some recent of her.

Le Family Reunion/wedding

Phuong's cousin Duy got married to the beautiful Diane last Saturday! So fun to visit with all of the family that came. We took off to Sunriver to spend a few relaxing days in the sun. It was so great to visit with everyone and laugh about old times. Those Le brothers were trouble :)

Here's Drew as the ring boy - adorable

Getting 3 kids to stand there and look semi-normal is challanging - add the Vietnamese garb and there's even more issues

Everyone on Duy's side of the family...I don't know why Diane isn't in this picture

Baby Goats

It appears 2010 is not going to be a major blogging year as it is 1/4 over and this is only my what 2nd or 3rd posting. I won't apologize though, i'll just carry on as if nothing happened.

We are studying goats in Olivia's kindergarten homeschool curriculum and so we headed over to our friends the Weipert's who happen to have some baby goats. poor goat right...who feels sorry for the baby goat?

We learned all about the proper care and handling of baby goats. Those goats have to be ready for anything you know. Our words to remember are "Jesus died for my sins" and we reviewed the story in the old testament where the priest would place his hands on two goats heads - one would be killed for the sins of Israelites and one would go free. So cool this story falls on the week before Easter.

Miriam portraits 18 months

It's been so long since I've given any of my kids their own special photoshoot. I had miss miriam home by ourselves so I gave it a whirl. She was mostly not into looking at the camera but I did get these that I'm happy with.
